PAPER PRESENTED IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
We are proud to announce that Assistant Professor Krishna A. Joshi from Dilkap Engineering College presented a research paper at the International Conference held at J D College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.
The paper, titled "Evaluating Thermal Comfort in Classroom: A Computational Fluid Dynamics Study in the Context of Mumbai’s Climate," will be published in the Bentham Science Book Series, indexed by Scopus and Web of Science.
The study focuses on enhancing thermal comfort in classrooms using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. A virtual classroom model with 50 students, along with its architectural design and furniture layout, was simulated under Mumbai’s summer and winter conditions to evaluate possible improvements.

DRIEMS FACULTY'S RESEARCH PUBLISHED IN INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL
We are delighted to announce that Assistant Professor Sanjiv Pawar from Dilkap Engineering College has had his research paper published in the International Research Journal of Scientific Studies, which will be featured in Sciencia Publishers and indexed in Google Scholar, WorldCat, ResearchBib, ASCI,BASE, and more.
The paper, titled "Compressor Oil Used in Refrigeration Systems," explores the stability of PAG, POE, and PVE oils in re- frigeration compressors, particularly their interactions with low- and ultra-low-GWP refrigerants. Conducted in accordance with ASHRAE 97 standards, the study reveals minimal degradation and strong compatibility under standard conditions.
It further emphasizes the importance of long-term stability assessments and calls for future research on lubricant additives, refrigerant interactions, and metal component durability to enhance system reliability.

Prof. Veeresh Kodekal, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Dilkap Engineering College, has co-authored a textbook titled "Textbook of Thermodynamics." This comprehensive guide is designed to support students and educators in mastering one of the core subjects in Mechanical Engineering.
