DRIEMS Library is very spacious, well ventilated & well furnished with huge reading hall.
Library is the breeding ground for tomorrow’s intellectuals. DRIEMS Library is the lifeline of information to the students & faculty members for their in-depth studies in the area of Engineering & Technology.

Library Collection

Library is continuously upgraded & keeps on adding knowledge enriching books to its stock. Library has collection of:

  • Books-More than 9500 books
  • National & International Journals
  • CDs
  • Project Reports
  • News Papers
  • DELNET

Library Book Arrangement:

The library follows Open Access System(OAS) in order to achieve “Save the time of reader” & “Every reader has his/her book.”
A detailed plan showing the arrangement to books on the shelves in the catalogue marked Subject Index.

Library Timings

The usual timings of the library are 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days.
Book Issue-Return Timings: 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
The library remains open on all days of the year except on 1st & 3rd Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays & Bank Holiday.

Membership

All Students, faculty members & employees of DRIEMS College are entitled to make use of library facilities on taking library membership.
For Making the Library Card admission Fee receipt & three stamp-size photographs are required.
Two library cards are issued to each student.

Rules & Regulations of Library

  1. Every Student must wear his/ her valid identity card.
  2. Students are allowed to issue 2 books for the period of seven days from the library by library borrower card at the issue counter.
  3. Each book will be issued for the period of seven days after that they have to return it or renew it.
  4. Renewal process will depend on the availability of the book.
  5. Students have to pay late fee if they don’t return/ renew the book in time.
  6. Fine will be charged @ 2/- per day after seven days.
  7. Student can refer the book in the library in library hours by submitting I-card or reading room card. They have to return the book on the same day otherwise Rs. 10/- per day fine will be charged.
  8. In case of book loss, students have to replace the book of the same author & latest edition.
  9. In case of loss of Library card, students have to pay Rs. 50/- for issuing new Library Card.
  10. No talking or distracting noise which disturbs others.
